Ualesi is 21 next year so he'll definitely be in the fulltime squad. Pauli trained with them last pre-season as well, so he might be in next year's squad despite only turning 20 next year.

Yup, hopefully they can both have a massive pre-season and step up like Kelepi and Peni.

Tanginoa
Terepo
Pauli
Ualesi
+
Edwards
Mau

Some nice potential for next season and the future.

Daniel Alvaro will be somewhere thereabouts as well, although I would be happy for him to simply develop in the NSW Cup next year.

While it would be fantastic if they had blinders in the trials and stormed into the first grade contention, realistically speaking, I honestly wouldn't mind if they all spent the entire 2014 season in the NSW Cup.

Obviously a year of turning out for Wenty will transition them towards first-grade but Wenty practically need them there in order to shore up their forward pack.

That said, the Wenty pack will presumably be stronger in any case with there only being a maximum of 9 positions available to fit: Mannah, Lussick, Moi Moi, Allgood, Terepo, Tanginoa, Joseph Paulo, Junior Paulo, Mossop, Edwards, Mau, Loko*, Harrison**, Ryan**, Prior*** before we even factor in Alvaro, Pauli and Ualesi.

*Assuming he is converted into a forward
**Assuming no other club buys out their contracts
***Assuming he is signed

Agree. Exciting for these boys and for the club considering they have been in the system since U14's.

Next trick is to keep the Bulldogs and Manly away from them.

That's the whole point of the 'academy'. Both players are contracted to us for the year they turn 21.

Should be ready to step up to 1st grade just in time of their contracts running out. Expect to see them in blue and white.

For thise interested, Young Nathan Davis scored 4 tries for Guildford against a very talented wests magpies side yesterday, the kid only 17, had a big season in SG ball and will slot straight into the NYC squad come November, he's a long striding centre with a decent strike rate.

That's what happened with Peni Terepo. Ideally you want to see them in first grade the year before their contract runs out but sometimes they don't progress as quickly as you'd like.

The gold plated solution is kids like Tanginoa, who made his debut this year and still has two years left to run. That gives us a lot of scope for extending his contract without interest from other clubs driving his price too high.

Unless he decides he wants to go to Brisbane or Melbourne for 'compassionate reasons'.

How long would you estimate his stride to be Stagger?

Good stuff.
