High-profile player agent Gavin Orr has had his appeal against the NRL’s decision to cancel his accreditation dismissed.
The NRL appeals committee said on Thursday it had upheld the league’s decision initially made in December.

Orr’s accreditation has been formally cancelled from April 7.

Managing NRL stars Daly Cherry-Evans, Ryan Matterson, Valentine Holmes, Jason Taumalolo and Payne Haas, Orr – who runs Pacific Sports Management with his brother Chris – was one of the game’s most prominent agents, Orr launched an appeal after the NRL late last year pulled his accreditation for breaches including “knowingly aiding a breach of the NRL’s salary cap rules”.
