His grubbers in goal have been ok, probably under-utilised. But yes his midfield (always has been for some reason) and his bombs have been predominantly at best somewhat tricky handovers, and too much uncontested in goal easy takes.
Yeah there are times you’ll be getting off a slow Nrown fifth tackle settler, but Moses is quick enough that he should have a rushed option that’s better than an uncontested bomb

I can’t fault his long kicks. That hasn’t seem to have diminished at all, which is great. His grubbers are hitting a lot of opposition legs lately, although he’s not the only one doing that (Gutho as well).

Ive noticed that is hasnt just been his kicking game which has been lacking as well. His running game and ball playing have not been up to standard, but I just put this down to his injury. He is t going to the line and drawing defenders like he once was, just shoveling it out to Matto/Waqa as early as possible which is making it easy for the defenders to slide and not have to make a decision.
In fact I noticed one play in last weeks game where Moses passed out to Matto, who passed out to Waqa who eventually got the ball out to Fergo, but every pass was way too early. Not one of them thought to go to the line with the ball and make the man in front of him plant his feet. If only one of them did that it would have created an overlap and it’s try time.

As BA said, it’s an easy fix.

The only thing that would make me happy for a Smuggies win is if Cleary in his victory speech thanked the club for getting rid of the hack that was holding them back.

I used to rate him and could ignore his f**k wittery but he is getting worse and worse. Getting the gig with the NRL seems to have made his head even bigger than it was.
