I’d be inclined to go with fergo at centre and dunster on the wing. I know fergo was a disaster in his only game for us there, but with a full preseason, it may be worth a shot.

If it’s too early for Dunster to take a full time role, I’d rather have a solid centre focused on D and let Gutho swing and play that link role to the wing.

He's lighter, true, and probably needs to bulk up - Justin Olam is listed at 178cm and 96kg, for example -, but weight is not an accurate indicator of strength.

Smith was bringing down forwards with relative ease last season.

If you listen to the Kidwell interview (podcast thread) he doesn't group Will Penisini in with the rookies who need time in reggies. He pretty much says that he's shown a lot of talent, strong carries, very coachable and he's in the running vs Opacic etc.

So others will prolly get first dibs, but they need to watch their backs.

Yes but Pete doesn't flood the forum with endless tweets to let us all know when some left wing mincer has had their feelings hurt or when some right wing nutter has said something offensive that they should be hung, drawn and quartered...
