Although I like a PM who supports the NRL, I think Tahleya is right. As a leader of the nation, you can't hide form issues by claiming a lack of time then be at the footy.

Sorry to mix politics with Football, I hope Tahleya doesn't get fired over the supposed "Freedom of Speech".
Well, the counter point is the thePM invited the leadership into his office for a meeting, and was refused . That was obviously to make a point by those in the gathering, the last time a PM went to a meeting in the forecourt, pictures of posters being held behind were used as an attack.

can’t win in politics with the finger pointing on social media.

I didn't know that but I would say then that the protesters are winning the media battle by planting stories.

Revisionist history attempt here.

^^^^ That was Opposition Leader (not PM) Abbott's own making. After the protest there were calls for him to distance himself from the "ditch the witch" placards and his response was that the mood of the protest was "a representative snapshot of middle Australia". He was milking it for all it's worth over the "carbon tax" campaign.

Which has been confirmed that it was indeed a worth while fiscal policy branded as the toxic tax by his electoral crew.

Tony Abbott's former chief of staff Peta Credlin admits Labor's climate change policy was never a carbon tax, but a label for brutal retail politics.

There’s a reason the traffic on here has fallen away, it’s the constant posting like this. Oh well, another holiday from the left wing diatribe on LU.

so the article says there were no repercussions ? so why post the article at all

she is entitled to her opinion, and as for it going viral on social media, it didn't, I saw it and it had a few replies from the usual suspects

an article about nothing

You do realise that the march was on the 4th of March not at the same time as the footy?

Brown’s perfect timing
The Parramatta Eels and Nathan Brown are back at the negotiation table after the club pulled its offer early last week.

Brown couldn't have picked a better time to produce a man-of-the-match performance against the Sharks, just 24 hours after the club met with his management.

Expect an offer to be put back on the table this week. Speculation about a swap deal with Manly's Marty Taupau is off the mark.
