I think our club should setup a weekly Parramatta Show that they air on the Parra website during the season.
I doubt any merkin would watch it. You'd have to be a bit f**ked in the head to find it entertaining.

Edit - I just read that they've already tried it and no-one was arsed.

Jamie Soward has us 8th in 2022. Merkin.

8. Parramatta Eels
2021 finish: 6th

Parramatta regress for me. They've got mostly the same squad with no big-name players on the way. The Eels pay a lot of money to guys who aren't the best players in their position in the comp.

I don't know if they can keep pace with the top sides, especially if the Roosters are fit and with the way Manly finished the season.

While Parramatta missed Reed Mahoney at the end of the year, they haven't been able to adapt on the run in big games. They probably should have won the semi-final against the Panthers.

If Brad Arthur can understand what went into getting that semi-final performance, he's still the coach to take the team forward.

But they need to figure out their attack and defensively they were poor in 2021. It's alright to be on for one game, but Penrith and South Sydney showed you've got to do it for long periods to get it right.

Can't really disagree with anything he says there....

Yep he’s a c**k head but he’s correct, but 8th??? We really should be looking to finish top 4 next year.
Like Sowie says, the key is unlocking this group to be able to produce our Round 24 intensity v the Storm and our semi final v Panthers intensity with more consistency. There's too much of a gulf between our good and bad performance's. Mind you the Bunnies got touched up by 50 a couple of times but they made a decider and nearly pulled off a premiership....

So which teams are going to overtake us? Also this narrative of us not having big name players is getting boring. Players like Gutherson, Moses, RCG, Mahoney, Paulo, NBrown, Papali’i are all quality. Our pack is amongst the best in the comp, our spine players are on the cusp of origin selection and we have attacking flair in the backs in Waqa Blake and Penisini. The Rabbitohs and Storm will definitely be weaker sides next season with the Panthers and Roosters our other main competitors. Who else is there apart from Manly who are also probably not going to improve their roster too much either?

Well I think he’s a f**kwit. Eliminate that form slum (which coincided with Moses being out) and we finish where ?

Did he mention that we beat Storm twice ?

Ok so we haven’t signed anyone, but who above us have made strong signings ? Souths signed Milford to replace Reynolds / Benji. Storm replace JAC with Coates. That’s it.

Also this is just a dumb comment. “If Brad Arthur can understand what went into getting that semi-final performance, he's still the coach to take the team forward.”

Of course he knows why it happened because the team reproduced the effort from Storm game. FFS.
