Just watched the replay on FOXTEL of our 09 ‘loss’ to those cheating pieces of garbage. Archer killed us in that GF. Slater clearly dropped the ball and Fui gets penalised. We had that win. It still burns me.

Archer was such an incompetent ref and it continues as the Ref’s boss.

Yep, couldn't agree more. The cheating pricks got the rub of the green all match.
There was a very soft penalty given for a play the ball infringement against Parra in the 1st half, while they could have given the very same penalty against the Storm 20 times or more for worse transgressions.
Amazing how many plodders we had in that team yet they were all workers and playing for each other. Fui was a beast.
It just goes to show how much Hayne did to get us to that grand final considering the lack of talent across the park.

I reckon Daley getting the job at the Titans is the only chance of him staying there.

bart used to restrict his criticism to Australian soccer and boast about how he wasn't a fan. I am a fan of both the A-League and the Socceroos. But not because I think the game itself is much chop.

The AFL is also f**king ordinary but that doesn't mean I can't watch it when I want one of the teams to win.

We had more plodders than you'd expect from a grand final side, but we still had plenty some legit attacking stars - Hayne, Grothe, Inu, Mateo, Moimoi, Keating.
