Just got a good memory
*WhereWe're you spying on me or something?
So the cats out of the bag. BAs happy to flog his "best" 13. Fu*k this playing with 17 like everyone else, "I can do it with 13". Oh dear.Brad Arthur defends unorthodox use of interchange despite criticism
“I’m more than comfortable putting the whole 13 out there and leave them on for 80 minutes if we had to.”www.sen.com.au
Vossy asked BA on radio this morning about why he has only used 16 players last fortnight.

And the fact that the teams that finished above us on the ladder might actually be better than us is probably also a factor....failed against all teams who finished above him on the table, meaning fatigue could be a factor
Not all the teams that finished above us were better than us. Case in point Manly and Roosters last season. The 2017 Cowboys weren’t better than us either and they made it to the grand final. And the fact that the teams that finished above us on the ladder might actually be better than us is probably also a factor.
Period.
Is anyone really arguing Robinson and Hasler are better coaches than BA?Not all the teams that finished above us were better than us. Case in point Manly and Roosters last season. The 2017 Cowboys weren’t better than us either and they made it to the grand final.
It just really irks me when people say we couldn’t have done better than we have in the past because there were better teams than us. We’ve had our opportunities but didn’t take them. Here’s hoping this season is different. Is anyone really arguing Robinson and Hasler are better coaches than BA?
2017 Cows, in particular Morgan, were 09 Hayne Lite
Do we need to talk about how Craig FitzGibbon had a halfback on the bench last night, who managed to get on with about 1 min to go ?BA
Thats because Arthur knows that a good position on the ladder looks good on his resume despite his finals failures. He doesn't mind flogging them because 4th still looks acceptable, but in reality the team is fatigued come the finals.
Arthur needs to think twice about this
Just remember he has only ever beaten two lower teams in Newcastle and the Broncos in the finals, and failed against all teams who finished above him on the table, meaning fatigue could be a factor
No, this witch-hunt has a limited scope thank you very much!Do we need to talk about how Craig FitzGibbon had a halfback on the bench last night, who managed to get on with about 1 min to go ?
He's a rookie coach, he'll learn from that oversight. Not to mention Trindall can also cover hooker....Do we need to talk about how Craig FitzGibbon had a halfback on the bench last night, who managed to get on with about 1 min to go ?
Jakob can’t even cover his hair. He's a rookie coach, he'll learn from that oversight. Not to mention Trindall can also cover hooker....
He uses his bench when he needs to. Here's the minutes for our bench in the Panthers final:So the cats out of the bag. BAs happy to flog his "best" 13. Fu*k this playing with 17 like everyone else, "I can do it with 13". Oh dear.

He's been in the NRL for 24 years ffs. There's nothing about the game that you know that he hasn't already learnt. He's a rookie coach, he'll learn from that oversight.
If it's OK for you, it's OK for the rest of us...He's been in the NRL for 24 years ffs. There's nothing about the game that you know that he hasn't already learnt.
I think you're just trying to invent a story so you can apportion blame when none is required. Does more footy make them more fatigued or more match fit? We looked very fit come finals time. Fatigue has nothing to do with it. They have a whole week to recover between games. That's 10000 minutes to recover from 80 minutes of activity. So at kickoff they are fresh. The only liabilities they might carry from previous games are injuries and form.but in reality the team is fatigued come the finals
I never said any coach knows less about footy than I do. Everything I know I learn from watching their decisions and listening to them speak. And I say this as someone who reckons he's probably smarter than all of them. I'm smart enough to know they're the experts, not me.If it's OK for you, it's OK for the rest of us...
