FFS he hasnt been in the 17 NRL players for months ... much of which he played reggies ... even idiots know he was omitted
You’re an angry young man.

So picking him as 18th man last week was what ?

As I said ^^^^ Mannah was never picked in the 21.

Based on Parra Ball 17, if we lost Matto, you’re saying that Brown would be overlooked for lock off the bench ? So BA would pick Rodwell over Brown ?

We will find out tomorrow when Marata is named in the centers.

Interesting is that Moses partner is due to give birth in the finals series.

What happens if she goes into labour on GF day and we make it. Does Mitch go to the hospital or play in the GF.
I used to live across the road from Phil Blake. His wife said that she got her kids induced when she was pregnant so Phil wouldn't miss a game

I think he is a bit broken and past his best. But i still think he can offer more than 10 minutes of Maka
You’re missing the point of the Parra Ball 17. Playing cameos when we are up by 40 is irrelevant. It’s about being prop for 45 mins if we need him. Maka can do that. Emu can’t. Ogden can’t. Brown is a lock and as much as merkins will argue that he “could” play prop, he’s not a prop. Rodwell could only he’s a pup.

It was obviously omitting him form the 17 ... is it that hard to understand?
No it’s you that doesn’t understand what Parra Ball is. You’re wishing that the coach changes his rotations and bench. It’s not going to happen.

Good point. Its the logical move so probably no chance.
If its a Waqa and Simonsson shuffle Im concerned.
If he keeps Marata as starting lock (3rd prop really) it’s because he values winning the middle more than weakening the outside. Losing Tommy means we’ll be weaker, so it’s matter of where.

He is a middle forward .... what is he not capable of doing that maka does? Getting the biscuits off the very top shelf without a stool? .... if you are still living in the old days then good o

He’s not a prop mate.

Im not calling him a prop ... i dont believe props, prop up the hooker in a scrum any more .... he is a middle forward who plays in the middle, takes hard hitups and tackles other big pricks who run at him, then has the ability to do a little ball play at times too .... that what modern day middle forwards do

Interesting stat basically 25 years of data.

Ranked 5th we must have been on top of this list back in 2009 when we last made a prelim.

Considering its from 1998 when the NRL was formed.

If you are trying to convince me that 8, 10, 13 are interchangeable and all have the same body type, then I don’t agree.

Are there some locks that could play prop, yes. Tuomolololo easy. Cam Murray, Wade Graham, Cameron McInnes, Nathan Brown, Victor Radley, no.

BTW big difference between “could” play prop and is a reliable 40+ mins prop.

Lol. Is that argument still being had... Locks v Props? It's 2022, not 1982.... Irrelevant concept

Don't you want your more expensive players to be on the field for more minutes?
You want your best players out there, and ideally they will also be the more expensive ones.

I think Nrown is a better player than Makatoa but there's more than just playing talent to team success. Look at Hayne.
