Bloody well hope so. When Lane's spruiking his new business in the media, and still saying things like he "might" play again, maybe... with a mutual option contract still in play for next season, it really has to be brought to a head (yesterday).

I'm guessing it has been brought ahead and there isn't a timeline to when the club or player go public with this.

the club may be using this as a bit of a foxing tactic to player managers and other clubs who are pushing their clients and or players to them maybe?
