I didn't want to create a new thread specifically for this so will chuck it in here under the "even more crap" section.

The ILGA (Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority) has completed its report and somehow Raaay got his hands on a copy. You can hear the "sack the board" comments from Jake now but unfortunately I think Jake has missed the boat on this one.

Hadley broadcast some of the report this morning on his show (podcast available here) and seems like ILGA agreed with the "sack the board" idea after all.

I heard Hadley this morning and he stopped short of blaming the current board, just repeated the report and said that those named were responsible for the situation the club now finds itself in

Still the usual hint that the club would be better run by DF, but he did sheet th blame squarely onto Spags and co

I agree and i for one am glad this report is now out, the investigation completed and the club in a position to focus on what needs to be done to build a better, stronger and more focused footy team.

... at least until the next elections.

Yes by our club. Not really by the people on our board as it was Arthur who played the players when we weren't supposed to but there was at least 1 game last where we could legally only play 16 players so what else were we supposed to do? So of course the blame has to go onto someone, and it isn't any surprise that Jake is putting the blame on the current board. Did you miss the massive fine we received over this whole thing?

Does this board pick the team or the coach? I always thought it was the coach. Who authorises who can play when the coach wants to play someone? Is it the football director , CEO or the board?

It took a 93 page report and a few years for people to realize this?

Many here were calling it back in late 2010 ....

Umm where did I say that? captain geniuso. Just because I don't agree with the current board and their constant f**k ups doesn't mean I want the old board back. I'm just here to keep the bastards honest. And so far the bastards are doing good job of being incompetent. You know what I too was a supporter of this current board but all this lack good governance and other stuff has finally convinced me of the need of change. Independent directors.
