The next coach has to be able to instill new approaches in both attack and defence, as well as getting the players motivated much more often than not. Look at what Payten has done with the Cowboys.

We also need specialist assistants.

No, that's why the coach still has a job.

In reality, if Bellamy, Robinson or Bennett were genuinely interested in coaching Parra, BA wouldn't still be here.
I would add Payten as someone we would probably consider if available too.
Not many others though to be honest.

It's difficult to judge the ability of a coach who's been in the NRL for years with any real accuracy. Even more difficult to judge those who haven't. So I don't get why so many people say you only change coaches if you've got someone better.

Ciraldo or give Brad Fittler a go. He has a very high profile and could recruit the east and west of sydney equally well.

The role of an NRL Head Coach has changed a lot since Fittler coached the Roosters.

He'd need some very high calibre assistants with considerable tactical nous to be a success in the NRL now. I'm not sure who those assistants are though.

I reckon Flanagan could do a good job with our squad but his reputation seems damaged. He’d be a perfect fit for the Tigers but no one seems to want anything to do with him.

Out of who else I suppose Ciraldo is the best available. He’s only got one less finals win than our current SuperCoach from 8 and half seasons less 🥸
Well our club does like taking a chance on a cheapie and turning them into a diamond…….Flanagan certainty fits that category….

While this year is far from over and I doubt BA will be sacked, I reckon Flanagan is the next best available option..

taking away his crimes, he record is great. And he wouId finally be at a club with resources…..
