And I know people are going to say that football is his release etc. Assuming this is true our captain is obviously not well. This coming out of rebab to play and going back seems very unorthodox to me. I feel for him, life is bigger than the game. Take an extended break , Foz. f**k footy mate.

PS Wilson makes Kent look like Frilingos.

If the DT reporting hadn't hit its lowest it keeps digging deeper. Wilson is a vile human being.

Yeah she's a rubbish person but the concern here should be for Foran. If true, the bloke has even greater issues which need to be sorted. Maybe just maybe Foran being exposed like this will
Wake him up with some professional help.

Could be the biggest dud buy in eels history! Prescription drug issues, gambling issues, what next?

No, that's a race between Anthony Watmough, Chris Sandow and Justin Poore. Foran however is trying to do an Eels in 2009 and make the GF.

He is getting professional help. We just don't know what for and shouldn't need to either.

BTW Foran losing $75k is like the average wage earner losing $3500.

That's still alarming. The guy is in rehab and he decides the best thing to do is go on the punt? Maybe I'd do the same if I was in his situation but it's obvious he ain't in a good place.

He is 100% in "I don't give a crap" mode.

I don't know the circumstances behind the marriage breakdown, but after seeing his wife's instagram posts, she is doing her best to show that it's business as usual. One thing that men find it hard to cope with is a woman who openly presents herself as having quickly moved on, smiling and seemingly unaffected but it all. It tears us apart.

100%.

There would be leading players on much less who gamble and lose more than that each week as well.

It also assumes the report is accurate and that the bets are all his. Could be his manager or someone on his account, a syndicate, or a pro Pinter who can't get bets on.

Some hysterical nonsense in this thread so far.

Mate I don't know how much you have in your TAB account buts that's a huge amount to drop in just one day. It's written by Chewbecca so it should be taken with a grain of salt and should be nobodies business but his but maybe footy is the last place he should be ATM.

Maybe it well could be the best place for him I just hope he is getting all the help he needs.

The other thing about gambling is that people with emotional problems often do it as a form of escape.

It doesn't necessarily mean he has a whole new and different series of problems even if it is an issue.

It's funny how big a range of attitudes the public has about gambling.

It's the fourth biggest industry in the country or something. It's entirely legal. But it provokes some ultra moralistic responses.

Mate as someone who went through my own demons a while back you are 100% correct. It's a symptom of a much larger problem.

Which is why he should not represent our club whilst being in this mode. Let's not sugar coat it, with his dodgy hammies, current situation and bang for our buck so far he has been an awful signing. All for a cool $100,000 per month but hey that's just a drop in the ocean for our Foz.

Kick a man while he's don't why don't ya Telecrap!
That is disgraceful article, what someone bets in their private and confidential betting account is no one elses business.
When are the media going to be held accountable? what if he sees this and then something worse happens due to place it might put him in? No one is accountable.

I also wonder how long he has a had a problem and if he was still at Manly would it be getting dragged through the media like it is?

There are forces out there much bigger than we think and they are trying to bring this club do to it's knees and won't stop til it surrendered. Is there forces out that want our club gone?

Gee that's a bit rough mate, before the Dogs game we were all Excited at what he brought to the side. It's been a shit year all round and maybe he should have a good rest and get his head and hammies right for next year but none of this season has really been his fault.

It's Paul Kents fault for cursing the 7 jersey back in 1989.
