Few questions:
1. Who was it that leaked this information to the media?
2. How would they get this information in the first place? (i.e: who the hell would know how much someone has in their TAB account?)
3. How accurate is this information?

Couple of observations:

1. We signed a guy on a very big contract who came to us with a dodgy hamstring and apparently lots of off-field issues. He is our captain. Not talking about him as a person, but in terms of value for money Corey Norman shits all over him at the moment.
2. I'd rather see Foran stay out of the game for the whole year, get his shit together, and come back to us next year 100%. (Any points we earn between now and the end of June are gunna be taken off us, anyway).

You would think the leak would have been someone from the TAB.

And you are right, we aren't getting good value from Foran at this stage.

I think in a sense he does, given he is being paid big money to carry a big profile. Surely a lack of privacy is part of the price they pay for all that money. You can't pick and choose when your high profile kicks in.

Every day there are millions of people find out they have cancer, but right now everyone in Australia (outside of the east coast probably) are crying for that AFL player who just had a recurrence of melanoma. People are interested in the people we know much more than the people we don't know, and most people feel like they know celebrities, including sportsmen. Their victories are our victories, and their failures are likewise our business. It's f**ked but that's how it is.

It's a breach of Foran's privacy for that betting info to be leaked to the telegraph. Not matter how much you earn, some info should remain privacy.

Don't forget this aren't betting at a pub or club but online using a personal account.

If the TAB leaked it, someone deserve to be sacked. I have worked with people's personal info before and gee heads would roll if this ever happen to that organisation.

In my opinion the tab didn't leak it but someone close to him.

Anyway Foran does deserve some privacy.
