Players are unavailable for all sorts of reasons. This is why you invest in depth (or run the risk of not investing in it).

I don't think anyone expected to have to carry his whole contract under the cap. We would be better served spending that $1M+ on two or three players, including a hooker and a replacement right half. Could be that forcing Foran out on breaches is our only chance of overturning the NRL's TPA decision.
