Where's avenger? I've got the popcorn ready.
Like I said for our sake with the money we are paying him I hope he does turn it around. Foran came to our club as the great hope. A man that has won a premiership, captained his country etc. Endorsed by our best ever halfback and Arthur who coached him as an assistant with Manly. He came for a massive amount of money. He even signed a contract where he could walk away with a $1 million dollar
escape clause and threatened to take us to court if we did not honour it until Arthur and the NRL stepped in and changed it..
So....the club offer him a deal and he signs it....and it's his fault? The fact that he gave ground when he didn't really need to is a credit to the bloke. I reckon you're being pretty harsh on him.
Trying to demonstrate that it is all about the money with this bloke. Yet people on here want to accuse Hayne of the same thing. Hayne has more love for our club than Choc and Foran combined. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Hayne. They have no Parra pedigree. Hayne has and I love him for it.
Well, I'm not sure I get what Hayne has to with Foran's behaviour, but fair enough.
A speculative, totally subjective assessment that cannot be measured. Where is the proof? For a start both of them didn't play enough games for us to assess the impact on the field. Watmough played half a season and Foran a handful of games. Have you been watching them at training or are you relying upon the cliched comments of a number of players and token articles?
Again you are all over the place. Your description of the best player that we have ever had is the exact description of Foran in his first year with us. How come you are allowed to put shit on Hayne and how do you know I'm not a winner?

He didn't start the season because of the injury, finally he came on the field and played adequately. Then came the other issues. His marriage break up is awful. I am not going to comment on that. Maybe I would act worse and not be able to cope, I don't know. However this is where he lost it for me.
We pay for him to get treated in Queensland and what does he do? He gets caught hanging with his ex Manly team mates after the Brisbane game and a former brothel owner. This is not a good look and I'm not even talking about the alleged $75K that went missing from his TAB account. That's his business. As a Parramatta captain he has a responsibility both on and off the field. He shouldn't be associating with the Manly boys after their interstate game whilst getting treatment that we are paying for. It's just not a good look and it is exacerbated when he is in company with the ex brothel owner. And please don't start with the what's wrong with that and it's legal and all that shit. It's a bad look. Fullstop. To think we sacked Mannah a Parra boy through and through with someone like Foran was in hindsight a bad move. Foran needs to lead by example both on and off the field and so far he has failed.
I've heard as much any any mug. Unsubstantiated rumour.
Like I said, I've only heard unsubstantiated rumour. Nothing else. Not even mentioning the match fixing innuendo in the media. It's not relevant or proven.
I'm not stupid mate and have more ethics than you can imagine.
Not his behaviour Baz, the money that he is on. Trying to compare value and their ability.
The only mention of Hayne and money that i think you could be referring to is in relation to whether or not our squad balance was not there with Hayne taking a large portion.
Despite what he has done for the club and how much he is a Parra boy, i dont see this being an inaccurate opinion to be honest.
That's a lot of questions Avenger.
Foran was only worth as much as someone was willing to pay him
So tomorrow if Hayne was available but the only way we could get him is with a straight swap for Foran would you do it? Hypothetically speaking if Foran chose to walk away with zero cost.

Oh, sure, we may well be paying him 'too much', as we may have been with Hayne. But I can't blame either player for taking what was offered to them.
In your opinion what do you think the chances are of this happening? Why would Foran walk away from a very lucrative contract and where (which club?) do you think he'd go?
Hayne proved his loyalty when he broke a contract with us. If he really loved the club he would come back for unders, and if he would take unders we'd take him back in an instant. As it is, any amount of prolonged negotiation shows he's all about the money, which is just like Foran and Watmough, except their names are synonymous with leadership, toughness and team success.
