Absolutely.

But the legal issue would then become - does potential damage to you mitigate and/or excuse the penalties to be given to Parramatta?

A savvy lawyer would argue that no - Parramatta broke the rules, and the need to punish them supercedes the damaged done to their fans.

Fine. So we sue the NRL and co-join the Club as a party.

They could issue just a monetary fine with no impact to me, but if they choose to deduct points they are removing the value of my purchase.

I think so. I was with my son and we sat behind the goal posts initially.

Arghh.. 2013 or 2014 Open Training Session. We sat at the norrhern end and there was sausage sizzle on thr Sterling Hill afterwards.

I remember the event but not meeting any mad merkins.

Due to promotions provided by the NRL, I and many others purchased season tickets to watch my team compete in the 2016 Competition for the chance to be crowned Premiers. The NRL will today potentially remove this opportunity and therefore have voided the remaining value of the product they encouraged me to purchase.

Class Action anyone?

You should have been suing the club for 2010-15 :)

Seriously though, your season ticket surely doesn't refer to premierships or to the awarding of points for games won?

And, on these grounds, should Storm season ticket holders have been able to get a refund.

If it turns out that the club has breached the rules, it's largely the club's fault. They are the blokes I'd be focussing on. Not the messenger.

What will be the telling factors for most of us

Is the club salary cap, compliant in 2016
Who was responsible for the infractions and when
The total $ amount of the so called TPAs, certainly compared to the Dogs, Warriors and even the Broncos previous salary cap over spends and the resulting punishment they received
Greenberg was at the Dogs when they were $ millions over, will he be asked to comment on that
Will TPAs be investigated across all, clubs in the same forensic way

After attending the AGM last night t really want minimum punishment to slap the protagonists and cronies that made the meeting a farce , the board know who was reposnsinble for the smears, Tanya Galdiel was very passionate and was my highlight of the night. The reaction from the floor was predictable and expected, the emperor and his mates are vexatious and nasty, that so many came to vote with him is testament to the factions that stalk the club

Even if you are under the salary cap this year, which has not been revealed either way, you are still benefiting from cheating the cap in previous years. If you didn't cheat the cap to sign or re-sign players like Watmough, Norman, Radradra and to cut players like Harrison, Mossop etc would you have been able to sign players like Foran, Scott.

Also Greenberg was working at ANZ Stadium when the Bulldogs were cheating the cap and his role beforehand was operations manager so his involvement in the salary cap was zero

It is a sad day. I feel for your players and you guys, the fans.

On the bright side it may be the catalyst to finally sort out this board room bullshit you blokes have had to tolerate for so long. If they do that Parra will return to its powerhouse days and not before time.

No, things will get worse before they get better. This club is completely cursed.

Foxsports saying the penalty will allow the club a chance to make the finals this year all be it a outside chance.

any penalty would be terrible for the players as it's out of their control and they have busted their arses to get in the position they are in and it could be taken away from them and there is nothing they can do about it.
