I'd like to think RL clubs give him a wide birth when he eventually comes back cap in hand promising to play for peanuts but unfortunately i can still see clubs chasing him in a few years time

"You didn't see me come out and say I'll be playing at parra!" (direct quote)

and

"Made it clear that all options were open for me! RL/Union." (direct quote)

Seems hard to believe that Parra went to all that trouble on him saying "maybe, maybe not".

I think this makes him look like a even bigger dick, but he also makes Parra out for fools, by insinuating that they chased him like a besotted schoolgirl, when he wasn't even fully committed.

There is still civil distress in both footabll and leages cluns boards, there are factions within both that are whiteanting each other constantly.
The Eels have the wooden spoon deservedly after their pathetic efforts this year and will probably not improve too much in this coming year.
A meger with Penrith may suit the ARLC.

Why are the journos saying it is embarrassing for the NRL that Folau is going to union? To me it shows that we respect our game and won't twist the rules for a cheap publicity stunt. If Folau had announced he was leaving the AFL earlier, before all the clubs had allocated their salary caps, I am sure he would have been playing in the NRL. But he left it too late. What were we supposed to do?
