Look at the F&*king heading.. I could care what you think of me Mighty D$ck as i have always said IF ONLY PARRA KEPT ALL THEIR PLAYERS RATHER THAN BUYING PLAYERS THEY WOULD BE ALOT MORE COMPETETIVE...Dont start with this salary cap bullsh it, granted you would have lost half of your players but not all..PJ Marsh was told to look for another club, Hodgo Richards not wanted, Ian Hindmarsh would have stayed if you gave him a decent pay packet..Dont say you couldnt afford it cause you went and signed players..

Couldnt care what you guys think of me a forum is a place to give your own personal view and if you dont like it BAD LUCK...

You are really an idiot arn't you

If you actually look at most of the players that Parra have infact let go over the years I would hate to break it to you but most of them where infact bought from other clubs you goose!!!!

The fact they didn't keep them does come down to the coach because he has the sole decision on recuitment at the club you goose!!!

Some fans arn't happy with this and they have ever right not to be, however if they do have the money to go out and spend on players then they like every other club have a right to!!!

Did you say why are we signing these players for when the Wests Tigers/ Balmain brought over Hodgson, Moodie, Richards, Sattler, Prince, Reynolds, Senter, Galea, Wilson, Grahme, Hieghnington, Halatua, Elford and Benji just to name a few who are running around with the club at the moment ????

So why after signing 6 elite players and recruited the best of Wests and Balmain for 2000 season then, had to go out and purchase Richards, Hodgson, Graham, Sattler, Elford, Prince, Moodie, Payton, and co last year for this season!!

and just for your information, PJ Marsh has actually agreed than signed a contract for the Warriors!! even before than June 30 deadline, don't ask me how I know, lets just say it's fact ;-)

He then did an about face and wanted to stay with us but the Warriors put their foot down and said your coming here bubby!!!

Richards and Hodgson went to a cashed up club who were going as well as what we're going through now!! Brett told me himself, that he loved our club and his preference was to stay. Believe it or not.

Ian Hindmarsh went to another club who were cashed up after a having two or three very lean years!!

It's the sallery cap doing what it's supposed to do, whether you like it or not.

And mate if you can't get over 1989 seek proffesional help now.

Surely not ;-)

Surely he didnt go to the tigers because whilst we offered him a good deal, they offered him a lot more $$$$$$$?

Actually he only got offered around about $15-$20k more at the first instance however when the Eels upgraded thier offer for the last time that did however beat what he is now earning at the Wests Tigers.

I was speaking to Lee about it at the time and some of the things the Eels had offered him when they new he had a verbal agreement with the Tigers was amazing

He like many had a tift with Smith whilst at the time this infact clouded his judgement I'm not going to complain about who he chose to play for ;-)

If that's the only point you are trying to make then this matter should be over and done with already. We have lost a large number of players in recent years, there's no doubt about that. Some left for more money, others left for a better chance at first grade, others for personal reasons. It's all in the past now, know use dwelling on it, look toward the future rather than the past.
