i'd drop hindy - all he ever does is tackle people and save tries ... not enough try scoring for mine

skeepe?

Is this the bloke who reckons Punter is the greatest test captain ever and doing a brilliant job?

So i assume

6.KK
7.Robson

14.Mitchell

Frankly I'd rather Humble at 5/8 the rest of the way. He looks more likely and has express pace and the ability to 'expose' the overlap.

I'd go for

6. Humble
7. Robson

14. Mitchell/ KK?

KK is rubbish as "backup hooker" - all he seems to do is pick it up and run himself. It looks good at times, but stalls the overall attack (it's the Kidley in Origin fiasco...)

KK at hooker hasn't really worked. He's a 5/8 and a good one at that.

To be fair to DA, even if he dropped people what guarantee is their that the replacements would be better? Humble is good, but not yet outstanding. Mitchell hasn't demanded a place by all accounts and why debut him in a must-win game?

Why hasn't he dropped Luke Burt too. Very ordinary footballer. Won't take a bomb, won't tackle, won't take a hit up off the kick return. Anyone can wait on the wing get passed the ball & place the ball over the line. My old grandmother can do that. Wentworthville A Reserves for this imposter. He can lick goals but you don't have to get physical with opposition.

A tad bit on the harsh side don't you think?

I disagree with everything you say, and unlike yourself, i value Burts contribution to the team. If the problem stems from him not taking a bomb why don't you go blaming our whole backline as it seems as if none of them ( barring Inu and Reddy at times) have been diving for the bomb.

If your grandmother is as good as Burt then by all means send her over to our 1st grade squad, id love to have another Burt in our team. Maybe then we'd have a team full of hard workers who bleed their heart out for the team.

If he's doing that then I don't blame the other teams for not wanting to get physical with him.

He's an excellent goal-kicker as well and has been for several years.

In addition, his form this year has been pretty good. And he does tackle and run the ball. He weighs 80kg and plays against guys who weigh 100kg. You have to be tough to do that. Much less to do it for 11 years.

I think Sefton boy is just a sht stirrer tbh! Hes probably the same guy Sinbad from the other site with 20 different accounts all of which spend 99% of their time trying to bag Burt out. Its just ridiculous. Burt has done nothing wrong and im so happy he's in our team.

I'm not a stirrer at all. Luke Burt has become a liability on the wing for Parramatta. I cannot believe they signed him again last year. A good winger these days is a great finisher; good under the high ball; and does a lot of hit ups from the kick return to get the set of six going forward. Burt does none of these to first grade standard. I'm sorry but there is a lot of Eels supporters who feel the same. We need big strong wingers not 80kg wingers. Hit up stats as per NRL site:
Sam Perrett 304 for 2290 metres gained (19 games)
Brett Morris 232 for 2433 metres gained (18 games)
Luke Burt 104 for 733 metres gained (18 games)
Eric Grothe 113 for 914 metres gained (8 games)

I rest my case your honour

point of order your worship as luke burt is out on the wing he needs someone to actually pass him the ball to take a hitup

It's the wingers job to catch the bombs...

It's also their job to take a hitup on tackles 1 or 2 - or perhaps scoot from dummy half in that time.

I HATE the 'all the other blokes are bigger than Lukie' argument. So what? If he's too small for FG these days, then so be it? But if he's gonna play FG, then why not put in!!! JUMP when they kick the bomb towards you; pick it up and SCOOT just 5 times from dummy half in the whole game (he actually has superb footwork to do this around the big guys late in the halves!)

You'll find that a dummy half scoot is a hit up & Luke Burt just refuses to do them. A good winger will get the set of six rolling forward out of your danger end to set up for the forwards roll on. He just won't do it. Luke please please please take a bomb. Just looking at the opposition fly above to bat it back to support players just doesn't cut it. It's a nothing play. A least have a go, if you drop it so be it. Tell me how many clubs would be queing up to buy Luke Burt? Maybe Cronulla & Celtic Crusaders.

Burt got hammered deluxe for being too weak to do an effective dummy half run and getting dominated - now he's getting hammered for not getting dominated when he doesn't do them

he's playing injured .... obviously not at his best and seemingly not keen to put his dodgy knee under more pressure than needed - but DA must think he's better than any other option atm

we are missing eric grothe massively ... end of story

That must be why so many teams r scoring from kicks against us. Our outside backs r being told to dive for bombs?? and i guess leap for grubbers????:crazy:
