Not escape-goating, but stating the obvious. Conversions cost us the game.
Where did I say that two errors cost us?We didn't fail because of two errors, we failed because we only had four backs in our defensive line for most of the match.
I agree. The memory of some seems to get foggy considering how we turned up to play not all that long ago. That was a great game to watch but in the end it wasn't going to be. The way the game is played these days it doesn't take much to turn a teams fortunes around. Eels dominated the first half, Panthers the second. Possession, injuries, 50/50 calls and goal kicking deemed we didn't get the two points. Congrats to the Panthers.Very harsh to be critical of a bits and pieces outfit today.
I'm proud of them for what it's worth.
One error isn't a turning point. The real turning point is when Jennings got injured.Turning point was that 1st minute in that 2nd half when faraimo dived on that ball unnecessarily on the 5th tackle and gave them another set of six which they scored gave them the momentum over the next 15 mins in which they scored 3 tries and we didnt complete a set

Jesus Christ. I just witnessed a great effort. Yes the result sucked, but f**k me we were courageous.
So were Penrith. You might think it was a great effort. I can't cop what offered up in the fifteen minutes after half time...yes, we were brave at times. We were also awful at times.
Agreed. Awesome effort, yet again.Jesus Christ. I just witnessed a great effort. Yes the result sucked, but f**k me we were courageous.

sure, there were issues, but considering that we are having perhaps, the worst year of any team in living memory, I'm still proud of themI'm not.
That was f**king disgraceful.
No, woeful football in both attack and defence in the 15 minutes after half time cost us the game. Defend one of those tries and we win regardless of goal kicking. For a side that had been so good defensively, we have been wooden spoon bad in periods over the last few weeks.
It's not over. I proved a team can make it with 22 points.
Best season ever.

And that 15 minutes of football cost us the game at the end of the day. It doesn't matter how brave you are in defeat if it's a defeat of your own making. We needed to be tough in defence and we weren't, and ultimately that's why we lostOnly time we were awful was the first 15 of the second half with our bits and pieces team. And we still went within an inch of winning.
Any team with Beau Scott & Manu defending in the centres is always going to struggle.
We could've been up an extra 6 points at halftime if the ball went the right way.
