Actually someone over at nospam thought the intent might be to use Fui as an edge forward this year, and I reckon he's right.

Fui has obviously trimmed down even further this year, and considering Kearney has already said he will use Tautai at front-row, that leaves Paulo as the sole back-rower on the bench. Considering Paulo is outside the 17 though, I suspect Fui is also there as an edge forward.

He carved Souths up when he played on the left edge last year (when he wasn't busy getting sin-binned) and I reckon he would have played there a lot more if it weren't for Poore's injury.
