Eels - Toyota Cup

Dragons halfback was better than either of ours. Tries from kicks still count, and perhaps the coaching decision to go into the game with a half at fullback was shown up by some clever Dragons plays.

We were in the game, but couldn't get the points to win it or seal it. I think the better team won, c'est la vie.

Mick Hagan the scapegoat for the Toyota Cup loss....
... Grow up kids....
The commentator on Fox was a St George supporter, did anyone else get that drift?

I reckon it's your fault for the whole year. You old bastard. :)

 Thanks for calling me an old bastard..It's an improvement on what I am usually called:sarcasm:

I thought David Baumann did good tonight..Mitchell Allgood looks to be in a 'spotta', Kris Keating was a little off his game, but big Tony had probably his best for a long time.
Mase and his brother Q, who starred with Souths Logan apparently are after a 'package deal'. Quentin was fantastic for the SL Magpies this season.

On reflection we had every opporti=unity and showed nothing constructive, and little of the flair when needed. Hodgkinson came into the side and gave little direction, actually was one of the worst performances I have seen from hhim.

I wish the dribbling commnentators would actually watch what Tony Williams does and stop creaming themselves over his soze etc, Lasalo outplayed him from the get go.

A good season, marred by one of the worst efforts at the death
I have to agree. Also no one has mentioned KKs game.Very average from someone who is supposed to be going to save us next year.Surely he should show up in NYC.

Glad to see I saw the best of the KK experiment at fullback

Never mind boys, as we always say... there is always next year :D just ask the NRL team.

As a side note they better not f**k around with the Wenty team now that these guys are out as well.

so what did you think of Hodko's game tonight, personally I thought he was shyte but I wouldn't imagine you'd bag him after last weeks praise..

so both Quentin and Mase are after a package deal are they??? well best of luck to them most clubs have closed their fulltime books for next year...

well for a kid in only his second game at fullback I thouight he still held his own...In hindsight it may not of been a great move but you could hardly blame him for the loss, infact I'd go as far as saying that he our more better performing fullbacks this year, definitely ahead of Nasso and Rea anyway.

Oh well, a sad end to the year, but at least these boys can hold their heads up high knowing they tried every week. I am still proud of them!

Good luck to those moving on, Esp Joey Grima. He will surely be missed!!! :(

yes dad, sure

if you couldn't see Hagen's influence on our performance, you really should get out and watch a league game or two

5 one man hit ups and a kick,

our TYC team hasn't played like that all year

great job Hages

Good to see PP answer my question asking him how Hodgkinson went, got a side step that would make a Young Freddie Fittler proud.

Hey hows Tim Smith going ;-)

Still like a busted arse from what I understand. Somethings never change.
TH was ordinary on Saturday night, but no matter how bad he was - from what I have seen of him (and that is not much) -IN MY OPINION he has more all round ability than that other palooka who was a GC on these forums.

To make Mick Hagan a scapegoat for the LAST MINUTE field goal loss on Saturday night is a joke.....
Matt Cameron gets praised with wins, Hagan bagged for losses.
Talk about a laughable set of double standards....... :sarcasm:

Watch out Mick if Wenty get rolled!!!!!!
