I wanna see Turuva be in the side at some stage this season. He would have got a stint last year if it wasn't for the interuption

Its just facts. An underdog can't choke. Plus it isn't like they had a big lead and blew it. Anyhows Parra probably don't beat the Storm or Spuths so in a way glad you went all the way
I wasn't even talking about the finals game. Parra won 9 out of first 10 games and everyone thought the GF was theirs to lose....they then lost several games, couldn't keep it up..they choked before they even got to that finals game, especially Moses in big games. He played really well today because the result didnt matter.

Tago might have played himself out of a spot. Hard to judge without Nathan and our best forwards but he had a few woeful reads

Nathan won't fix his bad reads defending on the other side of the field.

That left edge, Kikau, Luai, Tago and Bizza is our starting left edge. There is no one to come in to fix it.

The optimist would hope that Dylan at the back organising them helps, but I dunno.

I thought they played easy sides to start the year. Got belted against the better ones. Then come good the back end of season beating the Storm and almost you guys.

As I mentioned earlier. The side lacks depth. A few Injuries and I don't think can cover that.

After listening to Ivan's presser I think he let the players know exactly what he thought.

Any lingering holiday thoughts, along with holiday attitude would have been very clearly spelt out I am sure.

Let's be pragmatic...let's take Moses, Gutherson, Matterson, Papalii and 3 more first 17 players out of the Eels and verse them against a fully stocked Panthers side with a chip on their shoulder...I guarantee you a similar or worse scoreline..

Exactly.

I went back to the Eels team lists. The Eels put our their best 1-17 for the game.

As we have said already 6 Penrith players left out of the Penrith top 17.

I think though Ivan went through them like a dose of salts for their poor attitude in defence and in attack.

Some of those reads by Api and Kiks were pretty nasty. To be honest no excuse for either player. If you're just going to phone in your committment.....piss off right now.

Take half the spine and pack out of any team and see what happens! Especially in a trial game played in extremely wet conditions.
Parramatta had their absolute best starting side, scored three tries off kicks, and had a few benevolent calls go their way.
So we crown them February premiers!
on another note - how bad was Cummins? There were a few times when he didn’t have a clue what was happening, he forgot to call for a break at 20 minutes, didn’t have any idea what a forward pass was, and couldn’t see offside unless the touch judge called it. Even the Parra people behind laughed at some of his calls and missed calls!

and Parramatta had a good day out. Everything they touched turned to gold.

Interesting comments about Cummins.

there was alot of highshots let go. Also a hell of a lot of face rubbing and dirtiness in the ruck. But that's to be expected when we had no real enforcers on the field.

Shut up Hindy. As someone else mentioned take Moses, Paulo, papali gutho and a couple of your bench forwards out of your side and put them against an almost full strength Penrith do you really think we wouldn’t towel you up?

It was disappointing from Penrith today but it doesn’t mean anything. We were understrength and a bit flat in a trial, nothing more.

It's quite amusing how vocal Hindy has been on the platform tonight.

Almost childlike.......

Anyone would think the result of this trial actually means something.

Come back Hindy when the Eels have won a premiership in colour, and within this century (not last)
