I'm pretty proud tbh. Everyone tipped us to get smashed by 50. We - the side coming last and struggling big time for form and confidence - are taking the fight to the second-placed Dogs. Damn good effort IMO.

if we drop our heads in the second half they might still get to 50 but parra would have got a lot of confidence out of holding the dogs out most of the first half they need to lift

Incidentally, the geniuses at Gem left the game after the dogs first try and went to the Broncs v Warriors game and then came back just as Inu was converting Barba's 100m try.

our biggest problem is our structure in defence, we are not defending as a team and sandow is one of the biggest problems in that area. He runs out of the line or sits back on his heels.
You watch how well the Dogs slide on thier own line compared to the defence we dished up on the 2 morris tries. We should not even be in the same comp as teams like the dogs, storm, manly and the Broncos. If they are NRL standard what are we?

One positive is the dogs appear to be down on form and primed to be taken. We really need to score first. Also the dogs look soft in defending around the ruck hopefully a fresh roberts will take advantage of this
