The only worry I have with Loko is that if he approaches 1st grade too early we might see something like what happened to Benji Marshall after 05, plagued by injury because his body wasn't able to handle 1st grade at such an age. Other than that I see no reason not to replace him with Reddy.

You can't have 17 representative level players in your side - Reddy is a perfectly serviceable centre. Does a pretty good job, especially in covering weeker defenders either side of him more often than not.

If he (Loko) is good enough, he is old enough.
The coaching staff will (or should) know whether he is good enough. Broncos seem to be getting good value now by using their "good enough" kids in NRL now...
Tautai biggest problem is he has hands like feet...

What really irked me about last nights game is when the scores were fairly close I think 16-12 to the titans. Mateo came back on, made a nice little break in the titans half, had his arm out with the ball to do an offload, kept making ground and waiting for a support player, it didnt come when it should have. FINALLY someone arrived, guess who it was? Hindy (bless his soul). Not sure where guys like Mortimer or MK were, but someone needed to follow Mateo, especially the damage he did in the first half

You guys were all over the titans with Mateo on the field for the opening 30 odd or so.

Hes easily you best backrower, not sure why Anderson cut his game time this year. Ben Smith is pure rubbish and should be the backrower getting his game time cut.

That's the Daniel Mortimer special - nothing kicks straight to a winger or the fullback ...and barely able to kick it further than 30 metres ...my grandma could kick further than that . lol
Can't say anoybody else is much better either - although Hayne does get some good distance off his kicks , just a dreadful kicking game overall ....

A dissapointing loss but a bit harsh ...Gold Coast had probably 70% possession in the 2nd half ...no team can win a game against that stat ...however Gold Coast showed how a team can win such a huge amount of possession through a brilliant kicking game ....something we do not have ..in fact it's the worst in the comp ...

I sat through all of the early 90's as a teenager and went to every home game with my dad. Those guys put their hearts into every game, sure they hardly won but they gave it everything.

There have been times in the last 4 or 5 years (way too many to count) where if the players had even 1/8th of the passion for the Eels jersey as those early 90's guys had then we would have won atleast 2 comps!!!!

I pay my money for ST's, B&G Army, Merchandise, follow them to most away games and all i ask for is effort........this year has to be the WORST year in terms of effort i have ever seen!!!!!!!

I know you can't turn up for all games but FMD, Tigers, Sharksx
2, Canberra, Dragons (Win Jubilee), Roosters, Titans, Newcastle, Brisbane.......that is 9 f*cking disgracefull performances in ONE year (and it aint over yet) and i am not allowed to ask questions and be upset??????????????

I paid the $550 to support my club, i don't give 2 sh*ts about the signed jersey or the special BBQ (didn't even want to go), i was planning on getting the Platinum package next year (again, wouldn't even go to the coach's dinner they offer) but after this year, why would i (ok i probably will cause i am stupid and love the team)??????

The real question is though, why would all the suporters who jumped on baord this year with all of the promises offered bother returning next year??????

I know for a fact there are drama's within the club so someone HAS to do something, sort out the problem quickly or the STH base will halve next year.........

I really thought this was going to be our year.
After years and years of non-stop dissapointment I thought, finally, we have a perfect team, a perfect coach and the perfect talent to guide us towards a premiership after a good 20-25 years of nothing. Alas, it wouldn't happen and I see 14-15 blokes out there in eels jerseys thinking its okay to do whatever they want because they already have a contract.
Watching this season, it made 2009 hurt all the more so, thank god we kept Hayne and i dearly hope for all our sakes that he stays at the eels...
