How much do you think he costs? .... if we wanna retain Drown and Moses (or have equivalent alternatives) then you need to find some cheapies to step up. Niukore has progressed past cheap

How much more do you think we’re prepared to pay Moses and Drown? I don’t reckon too much more. In any event, I thought the rationale for extending BA was to re-sign players on unders because the lads loved playing for him. If that’s not the case, I fail to see a single reason why we would extend his contract early (and by a further 2 years FFS).

The coaching staff have achieved all they have with this group. It's been time they were no longer here for a very very very long time now.

Whatever good they have been able to achieve is just going to be destroyed the longer they are here.

or Talakai but they have played origin and won a premiership (in Capewell's case) so would be worth a lot more than Niukore. I also don't think they were off contract at the end of the year.

Ive never bought into any rationale about BA means keeping on unders. Thats a myth. If there is anything to it, its chump change. Bellamy is probably the only merkin who any player does that for. No one else. Everyone gets paid to stay/go. .... knowing who the coach is is important though. Two clubs 9ffering much the same coin, if one has no clear coach they are at a disadvantage.

We will probably need to stump up another 200k to keep Drown and 100-150k to keep moses ... they might not even be worth it but whats the alternative?

Its probably a 150 to 200k upgrade though .... i dont think we could afford it at the time

The club should sack Brad Arthur tonight. We have been inconsistent all year and only won 3 in a row once this season. You need to do at least that to win a GF at the business end of the year. It just won't happen with this guy. He is stale and run out of ideas.

Try and salvage something now and bring in Shane Flanagan on a 2 year deal. To be honest I couldn't care who wants to stay or go anymore. If they want to follow him they can.

Just do it.

Why make such a drastic change when a solution can be found within and at the click of a finger? Just share minutes between Reed and Rein!
