Now you know Reefy I'm not a stat man because i can't be bothered spending time looking for them.
And on the game I only seen the 2nd part of the 2nd half so obviously the previous 50 minutes he was a star, but you can be assurred i will be recording it when they replay the game this week so i can see for myself why you rate him(on stats) such a valueable player.
And that figure, 0 errors, your saying a player who throws a ball to the invisible man inside his own 10 metres when you are leading by 4 with 5 mins to go should not be counted as an error(it mightn't on the stats but to those who watch the game that is an error) especially when this person backed them.

No, its fairly common knowlege that NRL get the stats quite wrong on nearly every match. Thats where I got those from.
Just like Merrit was only down for 1 missed tackle last week instead of 3.

Hang on haven't we discussed this 3 missed tackles already, it was only 2 and they were both in the same movement on the same player.

You tend to err on the side of merrit & not fact. I have never said anything different other than pointing out an obvious error by NRL stats.
It was 3.

& your argument is a bit weird in your support for the player.
Missed the same guy twice in the one movement.

My argument "a bit weird" Merritt did miss Mogg twice in the same movement, I seen that with my own eyes.
it was only 2 and they were both in the same movement on the same player.

I disagree, we will have a mix of the very young, the seasoned and the experienced, perfect blend for Premiership success. I fail to see how we will turn into a "dads army' with the amount of youngsters we have

imasharkie is a blindly loyal merrit supporter.
He therefore thinks that signing ElMasri will take his place. Which ofcourse he would.
However, Merrit will lose his spot, but it won't be Elmasri.

Ahhh Reefy you see straight through me.
I am a Merritt supporter and will keep fighting on his behalf and IMO he will come good before it is too late and it will start this weekend and then Reefy look out.
But my argument is with buying an overpriced and overage average winger just because he can kick goals...no thanks. If we want a kicker that bad why don't we buy another ageing winger/fullback, Joe Rolffe is retireing from union and he is far better than the El and probably half the price and it wouldn't count towards our cap.

Look, there havent even been talks to the best of my knowledge about what clubs etc El Masri is looking at, so I think we are gettng a bit far ahead of ourselves. Merritt is ok but unfortunately the wing positions are very competitive as we have loads of players to fit only 2 top grade spots, so Merritt may be dropped even without the inclusion of El Masri. Nonetheless, Joe Rolfe? Are you kidding? El MAsri is a better kicker anyway.

Perhaps it should be worded. " what is the average age of the genuine first grade quality players in our run on squad"

Based on many peoples posts here over the past few weeks, there ate plenty of players in our squad not worthy, and never WILL be worthy of a genuine first grade claim and are just filling in for our injured first graders.

I don't necassarily agree with that assertion though.
