Panthers have got them selfs a good player. It would be funny if Penrith's hooker rotation is brown and Taylor in 2014.

Brown moved there to play second row. Besides, they have the mighty Kevin Kingston

Oh my hat, I hope your not referring to Prince Harry?? Haha, he is way too little bro. He will never be up to NRL level. There was a reason we released him from his very small contract.

Ummm... he's taller and heavier than Luke Walsh...

While it sucks losing good players, I'm quite looking forward to watching homegrown warriors play for other teams, adds more interest (small silver lining). Sharkie and Maloney in particular, their NRL pedigree totally developed at the Warriors...can't remember many other 50 plus, Warriors only players moving to other clubs? Anyway, kick off!

I have a sneaking suspision that an interview that he gave at the end of last season might of had a little bearing on his decision as well.

Did anybody hear Ruben Wiki on radio sport today?

He was 'taking' talkback and was being hounded with the usual questions i.e. fans not happy with Round 1 performance and what can be done.

Somebody rang and said what dis he think about Taylor going to Penrith. Wiki did not know that Taylor had signed for Penrith. Initially I thought he was joking but he was speechless and admitted that he this was the genuinally first time he'd heard about it.

As he is now an official coach I would have thought an internal email/text/ phone call would have been sent out ... communication issues??

Wow, that's a weird one.

I don't know the full details of how contracts work these days, but could Taylor change his mind before that Round 13 cutoff or whatever it is?

If that's the case, maybe he (or his Manager) has made a "public announcement", but it's not 100% official until that cutoff deadline thing has passed.

Is the ball in our court now to tempt him to stay??

No thanks.

If players want to stay at their respective clubs they'd stay. I don't buy into players being coerced or not thinking clearly in their decision making.

If it was up to me Taylor would be on the plane to Penrith right now.

I'm sorry but that has to be bulls**t about Wiki not knowing, it has been all over the media. I first heard on the NRL Footy Show last Thursday night, it has been in the papers, in the commentary during the game and they discussed during the 40/20. Either Wiki doesn't watch the game, talk to the players and management, read the papers, listen to the radio, go on the internet or watch TV; or he's being economical with the truth.

we should be blooding our future talent and not wasting it on Taylor.

Our core spine of the team is an absolute shit fest.

sorry, I`m probably 24hrs early in saying all this... hopefully I will be wrong after the game...

I agree re the hooker position, no point putting Taylor there when we have Mara, Godinet etc who can do as well if not better.

Even though he is leaving I don't really have to much of an issue with him playing on off the bench for the rest of the year or in the back row. If he starts with the Lewis brown type shit of last year then he can get acquainted with the vulcans.
