Some strange selections in the 17's with three of the top players not picked good to see several u16's in there though, looking to the future and trying to speed up their development is the way to go.

The Academy side is as expected.

Didn't realise Paul Clough was that young.

Let's hope that all of these guys can benefit from the coaching and get opportunities in senior or feeder sides and stay in the game.

The number of Academy players that have played SL is the reason they will go so well against Australia again. Only about two of the Aussie Schoolboys have played NRL. Many of the Aussies are only CRL first graders who still play CRL under 18s as well.

Burgess will tear the Aussies to shreds.

Australia have prop David Taylor who is the best 18yo prop i've ever seen although Sam is not far behind. Burgess is the more skilful player but Taylor is just a machine, great workrate and powerful going forward.

Taylor is unbelievable. He's 17 and he's as big as the biggest NRL forwards. But he has only played one NRL game while Burgess is one of several pommies that have played a handful of SL games in recent weeks. BTW when are the Tests and where? or any of the tour matches for that matter.
