Great session for England. The plan is to bowl Aus out for a lead of about 50 and have the rest of the day off due to bad light. Then bat and bat and bat tomorrow and build an unassailable lead given the time left.

Ashes glory is so close now, yet still so far away because of one S. Warne.

Yep, Warney is the only thing stopping England starting the parties today. If he was not playing, this Test would already be a write off. Australia are making runs far too slowly if they seriously expect to get a result from the game, and the good old English rain has a few more appearances to come I feel.

aussies need to get around 70-80 run lead quick. then put in england in. there is enough time to get england out again. And maybe chase a target tomorrow. c'mon aussie get on with it. I wanna see glenn mc grath bowling in these conditions. He could rip englands batting line up apart. Go aussie! This is coming from a kiwi!

Maybe not a bad thing. McGrath might do some damage today and Aussies will have better batting conditions tomorrow.
