lol based on this years form Tamou would be in a Kiwi jumper do doubts. His is arguably the #1 prop in the NRL
Yeah, but so was Rauhihi in his day and he didn't get a Kiwi jumper automatically ever. Many times he was overlooked. It is a big rise in skill from NRL to the pinnacle of the game, internationals. Club form is not always meaningful.

Yet he did well enough to dominate the current Kiwi forwards back in April

Tamou > entire Kiwi pack

Cannot be so sure. The Kiwis didn't want Tamou at the end of last season. He would have had to bide his time to earn the jumper in the Kiwi pack.

More ignorance. Arguing that he may not have been picked due to incumbency does not diminish the fact that based on form he would have been starting in their front row.

But it is not based solely on NRL form, is it? Your form has to be so good to beat out the previous holders of the jersey.

Tamou is a good player, and would have eventually got a Kiwi jumper. But the Kiwi pack is strong, and he wasn't there yet. Simple really.

Tamou >>>>>>>>>McKendry and Bromwich - simple really.

He would have walked into that starting spot. The only reason he didn't get it is because he didn't want it. To think anything else is pure denial.

Look, I think we can all agree that when Tamou was overlooked for the Kiwis last year, he realised that he would have better odds of a rep career playing for Australian rep teams.

I agree with you and think he would have eventually made a Kiwi jumper at some stage with injuries or what not.

JWH is also probably slightly better than Tamou. It's hard to split a couple of moko'd (tatted) up central north island hori fulas.

Lol kiwis having a meltdown in the Australian interstate forum all over the place. The biggest RL match of the last 25 years is just over 24 hours away and they're feeling irrelevant

Bobby - Are you actually Maori? I get the impression you're a skinny little white boy.

I'm not trolling. I successfully said after game 1 that Slater, Cronk and Thurston would be even worse in game 2 and I got about 3 pages of replies of "" but guess what? I was right. I'm not trolling, I can see that without Smith QLD has zero in terms of anything. NSW will run rampant in game 3 and the "crowd" that is maroon supporters would have vacated the ground well before the halftime siren.

Remember when Hodgson was thrown over the sideline like a ragdoll by Tallis? Imagine how Barba would fare against Gallen  He'd be thrown over the stadium roof into a house 3 blocks down the road  Barba is a good lil' kid high on life but an origin standard player he is not.

i am not a troll either

The arrogance of QLD is astounding. Their fans honestly believe all they have to do is show up @ Suncorp and the rest is a foregone conclusion.

They have become what they once despised, arrogance personified.

no, we are full of fake humility and very smug.

5 of the best 6 backs in the game are from queensland, thats why we have been a class above for 6 years.

the nsw players didn't even know the words of the national anthem before game 2, so few of them have played test footy

It makes the rest of the game badly affected by the joke.

Teo's a Warriors junior.

Like Mascord said on Sunday, Origin is now serving the exact opposite purpose to why it was created in the first place.

didn't te'o play for keebra as part of the wests tigers system?

tamou played lower grades for the roosters before they didn't see the promise and the cowboys did

.

Their fans ? , wow you must have been busy travelling far and wide getting a good cross section of their reaction.

Or is it possible you have taken your workplace as a representation of the entire state ?
