and what if the members who pay for season tickets decide not to go to anz will you be singing the praises of the move

From what I've read it would be for the games where Parramatta Stadium would be too small for......if the team is that successful fans will go.

Bump!!!!

And some people ridiculed emjaycee's petition
Indeed, and a petition wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference to Ken Edwards wanting to do his own thing and shift the club to Homebush asap, while the Board (elected by members) want to commit to Parramatta Stadium as our home.
Hey! Lets have a forum.... :)
Go for your life, but it wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference and is just as silly as suggestion as when it was made.

The Board was elected three months ago - if they are finding employees who are resistant to the direction for the club that the members recently/overwhelmingly voted for, then like the CEO they just have to go. That's how member-driven organisations are governed and run regardless of petitions and fan forums.

Ken has good history with the stadium ...is that the reason why he was keen?

So according to you it wouldn't of made a difference and you may well of been correct ( or wrong) but was the idea still hysterical and agenda driven??

No doubt you'll have the last say again so you continue to convince yourself that everything is going just wonderfully well..

Well you just asked me a question in your post, so why wouldn't I respond? If that's "the last say", then maybe you need to stop asking me questions Stags

And the answer to your questions is.... yes it wouldn't have made a difference (reference Geronimo's post in another thread indicating Roy/3P would have been rid of Ken earlier), and yes since nothing has changed I believe the "urgent fan forum" idea was hysterical and agenda driven.

Although there soon won't be anyone left at O'Connell St to read this if I do ever get around to sending it, I thought with the dramas of the last few days, this definitely deserved another *BUMP*

Never mind the prissy naysayers in this thread champ it's just what is needed and I have signed on. Fully support your endeavours on this and thank you for organising it.

Let me know once you've posted it so I can make sure I've got my pineapple on us to turn our season around and win the comp . Those ParraLast drongos have had since May to make us a force so I say lets give them a wake up call that we want success .

On another note does anyone know where I can pick up a copy of the new Shinobi album ?

So are you saying that Roy/3P were going to get rid of Ken?

There never seemed to be this much divisiveness in Fitzy's day before THAT election....

Was he really that bad, apart from people overreacting to his one (provocative) comment about whether or not our future could be guaranteed (in light of proposed changes to laws governing clubs)? At leastthe joint was in better order back then, than it has been in the four years since :sarcasm:.
