Excitement/Expectations for the 2022 season

Mann is an easy scapegoat. But if our attack is shit again it won’t be on him. Clifford and Ponga are good enough to create points and if the attack is struggling they’ll need to be the solution.

Joey’s work with KP and the chat around that it has transformed the club’s entire attack structure, from top to bottom , is something I hope is not just ‘talking it up’ based on the expectation of the Joey factor. Putting plenty of points on in the early rounds would be reassuring, even if results do not go our way.

Nothing like a bit of off-season pressure on the existing head coach haha.

If what Matty says is true then I think he'd be a good coach, at least with the technical and motivational aspect. Not sure about man management though.

Hopefully it’s not just a case of jobs for the boys….remember when we made Matt Gidley CEO and Chief was some other high up role

You're kidding yourself. Mann tipped to be playing at lock and being that link mann he is going to touch the ball more than he ever has.

If we are struggling plenty will be hunting for him still.

This season: I'm just excited footy will be back and I can get to see the Knights play again. Whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

I'm still riding yesterday's high and it got me wondering... Whilst it is only round 1 and we've won 5-consecutive round ones... This one feels a bit different.. The whole style and attitude was much different to any previous.

After yesterday I do feel more confident about making the top 8 rather than finishing 9-12th.

Watching the tigers against the storm . As soon as the storm had any ball in there 20 the tigers defence parted. We could see a score put on here . Tigers weren’t great at all

was just listening to the Bloke in a Bar podcast and they mentioned how in the off season we brought in Hayden Knowles from Penrith as high performance manager and Patrick Lane from the roosters as strength and conditioning coach and how high regarded they are in their fields. I know the addition of Joey to the coaching staff garnered the most attention but I think the recruitment of 2 of the best strength and conditioning guys in the business will prove extremely valuable and has already looked like its paid dividends in our performances

I loved when Finch was on it, him and Kemp were good, the other guests not at all.

Forgot all about Finchy.. will have to read up on where he's at now..

“As an opposing team when I was at Souths we could lock the Knights in last year because there were a lot of one-up carries but we’ve got a lot more shape now,” Gagai said.

“If teams want to compress we’ve got the ability to play footy. There’s a lot more options and it’s a great way to play in this competition”

Something we all knew but good to hear that other clubs talked about it.

Phenomenal. This is why we'll probably see the best out of our front rowers this year. Teams won't be able to just lock-on and send in 4 blokes to smash them without the threat of us spreading it wide to our dangerous and speedy backs.
