People can bang on about it being easy in a team like Qld but the fact remains he made tackles, defused bombs and ran strongly out of their end. He didn't take any missteps from what I saw. Did it all with a quad injury too

Imagine if Gagai had Kurt Gidleys tackling ability, he'd be a worthy player for us. He can be creative with the ball along with having a terrific work rate, but his arm grabbing in defense is atrocious. So basically we are paying almost 600K per year for a player who is only decent during 50% of the game.

Don't want to be that guy but he did say we'd see an improvement by the end of the 2016 and made an emphasis on defence. That didn't really work out.

For the record, I don't think Gags is a great bloke for knocking back Brisbane, it was the smart thing to do. He's on a massive contract here and has probably seen how Wayne left things here and doesn't want to go through a repeat with Brisbane in the next couple of years.

Like Perv said, I don't know why people keep finding Gagai's repeated decisions to stay here so shocking. He's never made any noises that he wants to leave. It's only ever people speculating.
