Just keep doing what you did in the last 50 minutes against the Raiders. Start from that point.

And don't let Beale play.

I'll feel sorry for Beale if he gets dropped but I feel more sorry for all us long suffering supporters - he's a weak link & we need more out of his position.

My thoughts are that Bird needs to be on fire for us to win.
I don't know why I'm thinking that, just my beer gut feeling.
I saw a lot of improvement in his last game but he still needs to pick himself up.

I think he will really benefit from the week's rest - physically & mentally.

This. Wrong time to hit a patch of poor form, but we can't afford any passengers. More Capewell please.

Kick off deep and let Prior bash everyone. Remind them that Matt Scott had 3 line breaks in the first f**king set last year! And hope to god the two JT's get a bad bout of gastro on game day.

Outside backs getting involved in quick play-the-ball runs out of dummy half. Built a lot of second half momentum v Raiders last week. I think we give away a bit of size upfront v all remaining teams so need to play a game that suits our strengths. I'm confident, but we want an effective strategy to reduce JT impact.

Speaking of kick offs, a few of Capewells bomb kicks or short kicks would be a great tactic.
His are better than feldts and in part with Richards

Go high. Go long. Then hit em hard. Make them run 90 metres each time to the tryline. No easy 20 metres. no seven tackles.Hell. I'd even suggest no kicks to corners, only grubbers in goal.

Get as many repeat sets as possible.

JT can't do jack shit without the ball.

you mean both JT's.

Both of them last night were nearly unstoppable. I know Gal put a couple of shots on the Kiwi one earlier this year but last night he carried that team forward, it was unreal.

or grubbers into touch are also a safety first option, so they restart with scrums on their 10 metre line.
