Just keep doing what you did in the last 50 minutes against the Raiders. Start from that point.
And don't let Beale play.
My thoughts are that Bird needs to be on fire for us to win.
I don't know why I'm thinking that, just my beer gut feeling.
I saw a lot of improvement in his last game but he still needs to pick himself up.
I'll feel sorry for Beale if he gets dropped but I feel more sorry for all us long suffering supporters - he's a weak link & we need more out of his position.
Have we done a short kickoff all year??
you mean both JT's.Outside backs getting involved in quick play-the-ball runs out of dummy half. Built a lot of second half momentum v Raiders last week. I think we give away a bit of size upfront v all remaining teams so need to play a game that suits our strengths. I'm confident, but we want an effective strategy to reduce JT impact.
Go high. Go long. Then hit em hard. Make them run 90 metres each time to the tryline. No easy 20 metres. no seven tackles.Hell. I'd even suggest no kicks to corners, only grubbers in goal.
Get as many repeat sets as possible.
JT can't do jack shit without the ball.
