Vossy is fine, it's Halligan that seems to dislike the Warriors.

I don't mind if they point out faults and seeing Vossy on TV in the past he definetly doesn't hate the Warriors.

The last thing you'd want commentating your team is a pro-Broncos-type commentating team the we have every Fridsy night, it really puts off the neutral fan

Vossy best RL commentator by a country mile, Halligan sucks though. I cringe every time he mentions Fisiiahi's remarkable "debut in Taupo against the Sharks" when in reality he debuted at Eden Park against the Eels and it was a shocker.

My problem with all of them is that they don't appreciate they are on TV and we can see what is going on. We don't need to be told Friend is playing the ball and passes to Townsend - we can see that. Rather he told us that there is a huge overlap on the right and the opposing fullback is out of position - something we may not notice.
Also they don't have to talk all the time.

All that said; my TV has a mute button and I use it frequently.

Only ones I miss are Graeme Hughes and Eddie Waring..

Vossy is good. Loves the game. Calls it how he sees it. I don't actually mind Halligan. I find him quite funny, but i'm a weirdo!

I'm also in the Vossy-best-current-RL-commentator camp, as I tweeted to him once, he gives me aural pleasure. Great balance between calling plays, hyping up big moments & injecting some humour into the broadcast.

I was once annoyed by Halligan, but have learned to love him and his invention of words. To be fair I don't think he's said "Johnny-on-the-spot" for quite a while, which was one of his pet phrases a few years back.

The Brisbane trifecta of Hadley-Wally-Locky is quite possible the worst commentator combo possible, feel sorry for all you Brisbane-ites. They actually drain enjoyment from the game. It would be nice if there was a commentator-mute button where you still get all the atmosphere without the inane dribble from the guys on the mics.

Halligan is comic relief at best, so glad he isn't calling the main shots or doing anything particularly important.
