Samuela has had a poor season but he is starting to run over people now.
I've noticed this too.
This is because of the disruption that Galvin created.
Earlier, when there was less disruption, Samuela and Galvin were forming a lethal left field attack.
I think he can improve now that things have calmed down and if we settle on a regular halves combo he will come out of obscurity.

It's a no brainer for me. Luai is the best 6 in the comp.

I reckon Luai can do both roles and I think he is great at them. His kicking game has improved out of sight and he is creating chances.

I also have no problems with Latu playing 7.

We need them both out there playing their best for 80 minutes each week.

Not sure who would enjoy the halves relationship more Luai or Latu.. Luai will really enjoy taking latu’s talent under his wing.. and Latu will be in 7th heaven. excuse the pun.. For the first time Luai has a halves partner whose mental Gemini toughness will match his own..and exceed Clearys.. Luai will respect that .. and enjoy the calm and attacking mindset Latu brings in red hot situations.. I’m fkn excited about this combo .. I’m expecting big things in the red zone for the first time in a long time. I think Luai’s been trying to play 2 positions. now he doesn’t have to

Apologies .. Latu is a Gemini .. Gemini males are extremely confident. to the level of painful ..they’re selfish.. All of them. Go and check. I don’t like any of them unless it’s for short stints, but they make very good leaders and they get the job done..eg Billy and his twin Cam at the storm

How good were these 3 for us. If Latu stays on the park and works on his game he could be anything. Sione is now a good bench prop or even starting 13. Samuela is developing nicely.

Luai and Latu would make a good pair of running halves. Who is kicking though?

Luai's kicking game has been good. He can kick long and short. I haven't seen that in Latu yet but I'd bet that he will have a decent kicking game as well.

The issue is goal kicking.

I don't see AD going anywhere except back to centre in the short term.

I think his spot is under pressure now and it's unlikely he'll be getting a spot on the run team next year. If he is in the team he can goal kick but who does it if he isn't here. I have no problems with Api kicking for goal but we'll need some one else because Api can't play 80 minutes every week.

If the rumours are true, that he's signed with Moses, he won't be here next year and the rumour is he will be with the slimes next year anyway.

He slows that centre position down too much.
I know he had a really good game and his goal kicking iced it but I think we need to go with speed from 7 through to 1.
May (when fit) and To'a in the centres and Staines on the wing is a quick backline and if they rack up the games together, it could form a lethal combo.
Of course you throw in Turuva at the back and Jarome and Latu in the halves and bingo!
Bula comes back to fight for a spot.
