All the theme tunes of 70s American cop and detective shows that I'm familiar with have been posted on this thread. Columbo didn't have a theme tune.

The only one I can think of that's missing is Banacek starring George Peppard. No idea whether the series was shown in the UK, even less idea as regards Oz. I saw the pilot episode sometime in the 90s. Pretty good.

Eponymous character is a high-end freelance insurance investigator. Theme tune is a jazzy loungecore affair.
