:-k Please explain....

her voice is clear and crisp live and she plays the piano well, but she does not engage the audience at all and the two times i've seen her in concert, she was late onto the stage and didn't even play the full duration of her set.

both times she played her last song (without saying it was her last song) and abruptly left the stage with everyone scratching their heads. i dunno whether that's her trying a different angle on the 3232 encores that artists play these days but at the very least try and acknowledge and engage the people that are paying you.

Linda Ronstadt had a voice as crisp as a clear winters morning... just a beautiful vocal without question

Walking After Midnight has got to be THE most covered song up and down the Broadway Bars of Nashville. I think I heard about 4 or 5 different artists cover it.

I am a massive fan of her cover of Hank Williams ' Lovesick Blues as well.

Not a fan of country but quite like Natalie Maines? from Dixie Chicks.

Deborah Conway as well.

Christina Aguilera might not have the best written songs since it's mainly pop, but her talent shines through. A really powerful voice
