Well it ended up bring a blow-out. Team USA just too good. Won 83-64.

USA's first World's win since 1994.

Man teams just couldn't guard Durant in this tournament. USA would have been in trouble in this game if not for his amazing first half.

Durant won the Tournaments MVP award.

Durant owned that.

Which half of that squad will make the 2012 Olympics? Durant 100% certainty, others?

Westbrook was also pretty impressive but USA are stacked with quality point guards. Chris Paul and Williams would be shoe-ins, so it's probably Rose and Westbrook fighting for that final PG spot; can't imagine them taking more than 3 points to the Olympics. Then again, they could consider Westbrook a SG to make it work.

From this crop, I'd hazard a guess and say that, along with Durant, Westbrook, Rose, Kevin Love, Eric Gordon or Curry (depending on which shooter they would prefer) would be almost definites for 2012.

I guess they could maybe consider Iggy if their looking for a lock-down defender. His defense was pretty impressive throughout the tournament, although his shooting wasn't.

Lamar Odom was also pretty impressive playing out of position at C, so he might also get a shot.

So in 2012 I would imagine something like;

Paul
Williams
Westbrook (or Rose)
Kobe (if he decides to play)
Wade
Lebron
Durant
Carmelo
Odom
Bosh
Love
Howard
