Ennis at his best was overrated and no better then the average hooker. Being a grub gave people the impression that he was 'tough' and 'built for Origin'. I'd happily keep Kevin Kingston around before taking Ennis, and I dont think hes part of pur top 17 with Segeyaro available.

Dogs should move Josh Reynolds to hooker. He's a good hooker playing average footy as a half. Fixes one of the spine players.

Exactly,Ennis only played origin because The idiot selectors bought into the made for origin crap,he was not made for origin,his skill level was behind almost all other hookers,and his toughness was a myth too.
If he was a queenslander,and I wish he was,he would not have even got a mention at origin time.
Buttriss is a better hooker,hell John Morris could have done the job better at origin,at least he wouldn't have gave away dumb penalties when the game was on the line,and started a fight and run away,geez maybe Ennis is a queenslander after all.

Reynold is a gun five-eighth. Whether or not people like him that's their decision. He always lifts the team, plays with his heart on his sleeve, and finds holes in the defense.

Josh Reynolds will slowly fade in to the sunset in my opinion after a good couple seasons that even led to a run for NSW. I think he will remain a handy first grader though he is destined for an overpriced contract with a Super League side. See Phil Bailey.

Ennis was ordinary from mid 2010-2012 but I thought he redeemed himself somewhat in 2013. Gave the Dogs pack a real edge in the ruck and was one of the main reasons they were able to cling to a Top 8 spot.

Thought he was one of the better players on Friday night too for what it's worth.

Still, his form was nowhere near Jake Friend's last year. Then again, I'd easily have Friend somewhere in my Top 10 in that regard.

Ennis is a brainless, talentless, grubby merkin. His inclusion in the nsw side contributed significantly to a number of Blues losses. He'd struggle to even play first grade at a lot of other clubs

Foran and Widdop are a mile better than Reynolds. Sezer will be a mile better. As will Walker. As will Hampton.

Reynolds is one of the best running and support players in the comp. He just needs a better playmaker inside him.

Also Ennis in 2009 was just as good or even better than Friend is ATM, had a brilliant running and kicking game. Against the Raiedrs in 2009 was one of the best individual performances I have seen in a while. The injury problems he has had in the last couple of years has turned both to shit
