and i wonder if this deal sets a new benchmark for the best forwards

clearly player salaries are going up as the salary cap goes up every year

As for origins, Jake Friend is behind a bloke named Cam Smith, you might have heard of him, despite not having played origin at least he can say he's never single handedly lost his team a state of origin match by starting a fight and then running away

We had it. The only change to what we have now, is that there wouldn't be any official announcement about it.

There would still be all the paper speculation, all the media, all the angst. Basically all you are asking for is for teams and players to lie for 6 months.

For the Dogs sake let's hope Fifita doesn't turn out to be Mark O'Meley part 2.

How is this even a discussion? Ennis is one of the most overrated footballers in the game while Friend is one of the most underrated

On one hand you have a player who can make a 20 meter pass on to the chest and makes 40 tackles a game, on the other side you have a guy whose only contribution to a game is niggling and having the smallest forehead in the world
