I'm not taking this situation as personally as many others. I'm aware that most people only go to work for the money, and most people would rather be doing something else. Fifita is no different, just he's already living the dream of many on this site, and he's honest about it.

There is clearly something going on at the Sharks too. Gallen inferred that AF owed the Sharks a contract and that the money was really close. In other words, you're a gold digger and we made you. They are also in siege mode with the whole ASADA thing. So is it a real surprise that AF comes out and has a go at the game and his club? Not really. Blokes have virtually called the game corrupt in the last few months on the back of a loss, this little spit is nothing.

The whole "I've achieved nearly everything" is a personal taste thing. IMO getting picked for SOO and test footy is more important than winning the games, and I think that winning a comp trumps both - it's a team sport after all and you spend 11 months with your club compared to 6 weeks in a rep squad. So if he only wants a premiership now, I see what he means.

His goals might simply have been to become the richest forward in the game and make Sheens look like a dick. Mission accomplished.

They bought in the entire boys club bar Jennings & Moltzen from Penrith & WT respectively. It was never going to end well

Wait til his first game back @ Shark Park.

I suspect quite a few fans will be giving it to him.

Ok real world, fifita is in the entertainment industry, now imagine what would happen to a tv personality that goes public in saying they wished they worked for another tv network, how long do you think they would be in a job? Do you think it's professional behavior?

Anyone in the NRL who mentions union should be shown the door.

Plenty of young kids coming through who dont think about union every 5 minutes.

If they go give the big cash to a younger kid and applaud the decision.
And when they bring in the new player transfer and buying window at the end of the season, then any player heading to union should be chopped before xmas, not spend the year in the NRL for nothing taking some other guys pay packet.
The code needs to start getting smarter, other codes are giving us a beating on player recruitment because we have left the back door wide open, swinging like chariots in the breeze.

I agree, there should be some clause in all players contract that if they are promoting other codes they go byebye
