I heard her say exactly that ....that, that was reason they pulled out.

She is a bullshit artist ...any wonder he has the shits.
She probably said the TPA's were a lot less than they ended up being in written contract too.

m8 what are you talking about? She said exactly the opposite. She said it wasn't due to comments and it was an inability to agree commercially.

It was the bit about both parties agreeing to mutually end the contract.
That was the part that is bullshit from her.

That was what I heard her say on the radio.

Bulldogs say, well we could look into it, but not sure how we can do this.
Fifta says, screw this, I should have played Union, or just suck at the Sharks.
Bulldogs say, well if your not happy, I think we should part ways.
Fifta says, yes, I think at the Sharks I can win many a wooden spoon.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today advised Andrew Fifita?s management that he will not be playing for the Club given the final terms of the NRL Playing Contract could not be agreed.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle has offered the following comment:

?After signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Andrew we?ve not been able to agree on the final terms of his NRL Playing Contract and have ceased negotiations with his management.

?We wish Andrew all the best for the future" Castle said

"Andrew is disappointed that we could not finalise terms with the Bulldogs but we still have several options in the pipeline to explore," Fifitas Management Group I.am Athlete Management said.

Nothing in that confirms that it was a joint statement. Its simply quoting Fifitas management, and for all we know the "several options in the pipeline to explore" could have been referring to legal action, rather than alternate contract offers.

Would be nice to put it all to bed and move on. Can't some journalist just ask I.am Athlete whether legal action will be taken. He has re-signed with the Sharks, so there is nothing to gain by making any "false accusations" or "idle threats" of legal action in the media. I'm guessing they won't bother asking, because stirring the pot and flinging mud sells more newspapers than risking getting the truth and losing valuable "explosive" stories (whether they be true stories or not).

Canterbury is yet to be given the all-clear over its botched multi-million dollar deal with Andrew Fifita, with the NRL revealing some aspects of the contract saga are still being investigated.

Fifita was on the verge of signing with the Bulldogs for four seasons back in March, based on an annual salary of around $800,000 as outlined in a memorandum of understanding.

But the contract proper, leaked to the Nine Network last month, showed a shortfall of more than $1 million to the agreed amount.

He has since signed a lucrative four-year deal to remain at Cronulla.

NRL chief operating officer Jim Doyle on Monday said while the Bulldogs had been cleared on some points, the league's probe was ongoing.

"We're going through the whole process at the moment," Doyle told AAP at the launch of this year's Women in League round.

"(There are) different aspects to it. Obviously the salary cap aspect of it, and there's obviously dealing with player managers who are unaccredited - all those type of things are rolled up into it, so it's still a work in progress."

Asked how long it might be before the issue was resolved, Doyle said: "I wouldn't think it would be too much longer."

After suggesting last week the Bulldogs had already been cleared of any wrongdoing, chief executive Raelene Castle on Monday clarified that the club remained in discussions with the NRL as part of the probe.

"Certainly around some elements of it we've been given the all clear ... particularly around the salary cap elements and around the negotiation process in relation to the salary cap," Castle told AAP.

"There's a couple of other queries around the player manager that Andrew was using to negotiate his contract, so we continue to talk to them (the NRL) about that."

There have been suggestions Fifita has been considering legal action against Canterbury, however Castle said the club was yet to receive any notice of intention.

"We're very comfortable with our position and we remain comfortable with the way we've handled things," she added.
