With the final regular-season round of the F7's approaching, let's take a closer look at the match-ups that will determine the final ladder placings for the year:
Bulls vs Bluebags
Unfortunately the Bulls are out of semi contention, but the Bluebags can still make it. They'll need a win, and then the Pirates will need to beat the Lions for the Bluebags to claim 5th spot.
Panthers vs Sharks
The Panthers are confirmed semi-finalists, while the Sharks are fighting off the wooden spoon. The Minor Premiership looks just out of the Panthers reach, but they'll want a strong victory to confirm 3rd spot and take an extra life into the finals.
Lions vs Pirates
A lot riding on this match. The Pirates can claim the Minor Premiership with a win (depending on the Raiders result), while the Lions need a victory to confirm 5th spot. A loss for the Lions would see them become vunerable to the chasing Bluebags.
Roosters vs Rhinos
Both teams are out of semi-final contention, however the Roosters will be super-keen to avoid a wooden spoon.
Dirty Reds vs Eels
The Eels will be looking to a strong performance (and relying on a Panthers loss) to claim the all-important 3rd spot, and a second chance in the finals.
Raiders vs Rabbitohs
The Rabbits have the slimmest of chances to force their way into the semis, but they'll be relying on both the Bluebags and the Lions to suffer defeats ... and then make up a 339 point difference in for-and-against. The Raiders are gunning for the Minor Premiership, and they'll be fired up!
