As soon as RTS went off I thought we had the game won. Hiku doesn't have the fitness to play fullback. Also with the slippery conditions it was hard for Fusitua and Maumalo to keep turning around.

Leota and Tamou outstanding off the bench. RCG needs to start having a go. He was pathetic last night.

I’m not getting into a Griffin argument again, I’m not going to agree with the majority. I will say our kicking game last night especially has improved significantly / changed which has been a major benefit but I also think Griffin has to get credit for the position we’re in. A lot of last night was on the back of the tenacity, attitude & graft he installed in the team. Saying we’re doing it in spite of Griffin is such a close minded view IMO.

This season was always going to come down to a game against our ex captain. Probably nailed on for him to score the winning try too...

I feel sorry for Umina, the blokes not gonna know what jersey to wear on Friday.

I also hate agreeing with @betcats But I agree with prettty much all he’s said on this thread. It hurts.

I would definitely be starting Tamou & benching RCG, I don’t think it’s going to happen though.

Sacking Griffin saved our season

Not fair to judge RCG after losing all that weight. His pre origin form was fantastic and I believe we'll see that again next year

Lol Moylan could end our season. He has beaten us twice already this season.

Our season was dying fast long after Moylan left. After peaking in Round 12 we never looked like getting our season back on track. So Hook got sacked. Over a 4 week period since we slowly got the season back on track just in time for finals. Until beating Storm though it didnt look like we could do it.

We are week 1 specialists in finals though. 2014, 2016 and 2017 were all pretty big wins forus. Add last night to that. Thats 4/5 week1 wins over the past 5 years.

We just need a week 2 win now.

He has been poor for a couple of months now. Not writing him off. He just needs to start leading the way for the team.

He was doing that exceptionally well until he broke his jaw. He lost and then put on a lot of weight very quickly, that takes a toll.

Was a great all round performance.

Just need to repeat that a few more times.

Woke up without a hangover which is a plus.
