There was an interview with Cirlado back when he was coaching our NYC team. He was asked if May's confident playing lock forward, Ciraldo replied May's confident playing anywhere. Last year that seemed to be a strength of his but his acl injury will have taken away a lot of that. He shouldn't be playing first grade until he's he's back near 100%.I think i'd be going 9. Katoa 14. Egan.
Not sure May offers enough around the ruck given we seem to be using him primarily as a hooker off the bench. I think he's still trying to find the sharpness & confidence from pre ACL.
