I love Royce.

I was there at Penrith Park in 1991 when he played his last home game against Balmain and that beautiful warm day in September when he scored his first and only double in a match. It just so happened to be in a Grand Final.

Besides being a fantastic footballer and our very first Kangaroo, he is an absolute champion human being. One of the finest to ever play rugby league.

Yeah he's a champion. Gives me so much confidence that guys like this are now being allowed to help with Ciro coaching. Would love to ask him what benifit getting Katoa to do this is.

I got the sports pack taken off since the last few games are all on 9 haha.

I've gone one even better...I've completely cancelled my Foxtel subscription ending in 10 days. It was the final nail in the coffin for this lot after the tirade that this organization threw at our club.

It's NetFlix and NFL Gamepass during the summer. Then watching NRL games next season is a mere workaround by simply watching at the club/pub.

Yeah the gap isn't anywhere near what it used to be. Fox still have the best play by plays (Vossy & Waz are waaaaay ahead of the rest) but the colour commentary is really weak. Brandy is good and I don't mind Ennis personally, but there a huge drop off after that. Parker, Walters, Buderus, Hodges (ffs I thought I was done with this idiot) are all borderline unlistenable, Anasta and Gasnier are only marginally better and Blocker is only bearable if you treat him as a clown. On the other hand Sterlo is the best in the business, I don't mind Gould and there's no way Freddie, Johns, Wally etc are worse than the majority of the names mentioned above. It is of course easier for 9 having only 3 games per week to manage.

Fox's non game content is far better and having a 24/7 footy channel is pretty great. I'm not getting rid of my subscription but if it were possible to stream commentary from somewhere else I'd do so in a heartbeat.

I use the NRL app. The Fox standard is poor. Ch9 is too but you aren't paying for the privledge

Anasta, Matt Nable too on Fox. It seems every game there is a tosser in the box and you pay for such a service

They've really only got two main callers that you'd feed. Smith and Voss. Of the comments/analysis men, Brandy is pretty good, Bedsy is very good, Blocker doesn't bother me, but Anasta is just horrid. Parker and Hodges only a tiny bit better, Ennis can be a pain, and Walters is just too biased. Finch grows on you like a big wart.

On 9, Thompson is cringeworthy. Nine made a serious mistake letting Voss walk. Gus is OK, if you realise its just theatre, Sterlo is good but only when not commentating Parra, Freddy also bearable but the rest suck. Joey seems to be off his dial more often than not.

With 6 minutes to go on the weekend he was trying to convince everyone that the Broncos were about to stage a comeback and win....

I actually really like Brenton Speed. I am in the minority but I don't mind Anasta either.

Also (yes I'm going there) - I could watch Jessica Yates all day long. Make a point of watching the pre game shows every Sunday.
