Finals Week Three: Broncos v Panthers

Why Broncos will win this Sunday's Game against the Penrith Panthers in the Semi-final?

1. Explosive Attack & Offloads
The Broncos have been very good in creating second-phase play, especially via offloads from their forwards and backs. These kinds of plays can disrupt Penrith’s usually tight defensive line and cause them to make mistakes.

2. Strong Forward Pack
When their forwards get good go-forward (meters gained through heavy carries) it helps dominate field position. That puts pressure on the Panthers defence.

3. Halfback / Spine Synergy
Having a good performance from the spine (fullback, halves, hooker) is crucial. Reece Walsh in attack can offer a spark, plus good game management from their halves can control tempo and exploit Penrith’s defensive lapses.

4. Fitness & Momentum
If they come in with momentum from recent wins, with good fitness in the latter stages of the game, they could exploit any fatigue in Penrith, especially if Penrith have had harder games or injuries.

5. Penrith Defensive Weaknesses (Potentially) to Exploit
There are suggestions that Penrith have had more trouble than usual this season with allowing line breaks and conceding tries from set pieces or restarts.

6. Suncorp is the Broncos home ground and thus they will play under pressure to win this game.

This information is being Copied & Pasted🤦‍♂️

Clearys kicking game is key trap them in the corners they burn tackles getting out.As long as Edwards has a good day we should be getting kicks off at least at halfway
Also quick shifts and running on the 5th. They'll be going at Nathan way too hard for their own good.

Hoping to see Blaize bounce back big time this game with and without the ball. As others have said, the Broncs will have their crack at Nathan given the trauma he's inflicted on them so Blaize should get a bit of space.

Some of the tries we let in last week were really disappointing and not up to our finals standard.. we need to fix it this week because the broncs are dynamite in attack and will tear us to shreds if we defend like that again..

No mistakes..minimize their offloads and make them.play deep out of their own end all game.. thats how we win..

Broncos pack looks weak and unfit, their bench is average and they are going to struggle hard in the back end of both halves.
It will be interesting to see their strategy, to much sideways will hurt them if they keep coming back to our “weak spot” without earning it.
Their kicking is the main concern for me, lots of options to keep us pinned down if they get it right, that and easy meters if they get a bit of love from the ref backed by the crowd.

I'm very interested to hear how any team can pin down To'o, Alamoti and Edwards (as long as he catches the ball)?

Weak and unfit? That's really not true. Madge has them pretty good at the moment. Raiders who have one of the best packs couldn't get over them without a sin bin.

@The Silverdale Phantom the bus is leaving soon.
I’ve been on the finals bandwagoning whore since being attacked by @jane the pain here.

I’ve booked in a few other clubs for tonight and I’ll see how I scrub up in the morning.

@Miller was a legend and the sharks forum are a pretty welcoming bunch.

When the wests tigers hit the finals next year, I’ll take a stick to anyone who attacks an accredited licenced bandwagoner.
